Principal’s Message

Pharmacy Profession is undergoing rapid progress and changes in current scenario. It has evolved from its conventional and traditional drug focused approach to an advanced patient focused approach over the years. Now a Pharmacist is not only known as a Production & Quality Control Chemist, but is emerging today as a Health Care Professional, touching new horizons of Drug Delivery, Clinical Research, Community Pharmacy and Pharmacovigilance. Clinical Pharmacy has emerged as one of the latest branch of Pharmacy in 21st century. It is where pharmacist deals with various aspects of patient care, dispensing drugs and advising patient on the safe & rational use of drugs. Pharmacovigilance, another new aspect deals with science & activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding & prevention of adverse effects or any other medicines related problems. To meet such high measures, Pharmacy institutions need to be equipped with developing technology, well versed faculty and skilled manpower, so that students could be delivered good education & skills. With the objective & vision, we at MAWANA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, TAJPURA MAWANA have focused to concentrate on regular academic programme, well equipped laboratories, Industrial visits, guest lecturers & well versed trained faculty.
